Real estate is a people business. Transactions matter, capital matters and execution matters, but durable success is built on trust, relationships and judgement. Our objective is not to complete transactions; it is to help clients and partners make better decisions. Sometimes that means raising capital, sometimes restructuring a strategy, sometimes pursuing an opportunity and sometimes avoiding one.

The Blackbear leadership team has operated through expansion, financial crisis, recovery, disruption and growth. We have seen leverage overwhelm good assets, watched markets turn euphoric and then distressed, and worked through periods when capital was abundant and periods when it was scarce.
