Sir David Michels

Sir David has more than 50 years of experience in the international hospitality industry. He was Chief Executive of Hilton Group and led the sale of Hilton International for approximately £4 billion. Earlier, as Chief Executive of Stakis plc, he led the business through its sale to Ladbrokes for £1.2 billion. He has served on the boards of a number of major listed companies, including Deputy Chair of Marks & Spencer, Deputy Chair of easyJet and on the boards of British Land and Jumeirah Hotels. Sir David is co-founder and Chairman of Michels & Taylor.
